Terms of Service

Rules that govern your use of Frog Budget.

01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Frog Budget, including our website, apps, and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using Frog Budget, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02The Service

Frog Budget is a budgeting tool that helps you plan income, expenses, and savings. It is for personal financial planning and organization.

Frog Budget is not a bank, investment adviser, tax adviser, or legal adviser. Nothing in the Service is financial, legal, or tax advice.

03Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Frog Budget. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

04Your content

You keep ownership of the budget data and other content you submit to Frog Budget (“Your Content”).

You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including syncing across your devices and shared budgets you set up.

You are responsible for Your Content and for making sure you have the rights needed to use it with Frog Budget.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to access another person’s account or data without permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or overloading systems.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law.
  • Misuse shared budgets or harass other users.

06Plans and payments

Some features may require a paid plan. If you subscribe, pricing, billing period, and renewal terms will be shown at checkout or in the product.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel according to the instructions in your account or billing portal.

Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us.

07Availability and changes

We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. When a change meaningfully affects paid customers, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable.

08Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for decisions you make based on information in Frog Budget. Budget projections and summaries are tools, not guarantees of financial outcomes.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frog Budget and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

10Termination

You may stop using Frog Budget at any time and may request account deletion.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if needed to protect the Service or other users, or if we discontinue the Service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.

11Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply.

If a dispute arises, we prefer to resolve it informally. Contact us first to attempt informal resolution.

12Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The last updated date at the top of this page will change when we do.

If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
